I know you have the same felling .i asked my mama to your home to get some information of yours , I heard that you have a lot of work to do ,including: revise the homework of the bachelors, courses … Don’t make yourself so tired and take care of yourself ! Now, I don’t have internet , so I can’t connect with you so smooth. Because I transferred my office and the new one has no internet web. I think this situation will not last a long time .don’t worry! here , in DUBAI ,there are a lot of things happen to me .i will introduce to you as follows: I have been here about two months , during this period ,I am now changing into a more stronger and braver man .Although life is always with one tone , I felt that I am changing with the time . About life : I live with the a guy from Guangdong named Tan Chang’an he is very kind and also positive person ,so do not worry about me .every day ,I get up at 6:20 am ,and I must get on the bus at 7:15 at our Chinese camp. mentioning about life, I can’t neglect woman . The local women here shield their everything except their eyes ,so I am no chance to look through their bodies .days ago, I wearing the shoes you gave me went to the villas named Garden to swim .You know ,the swimming pool is just as i saw in the TV , a lot of women dressing in bijini , The scene is so beautiful ! the water in the pool is so good (blue and warm) .at that time ,I am proud of myself ,I feel as if I am a rich man and I owned one villa ; with the shoes ,I feel like you are beside me . There are almost all the digital product made in China .i also bought one. (IBM Z60,actually made in China) the people around world are very polite to our Chinese , you know ,my brother ,I am so proud of being Chinese . About work: at first , it is so difficult for me , I cannot use my major knowledge of concrete ,cement and so on. It refers to waterproofing , hardware ,wheel stopper , grouts and so on ,even if the easiest thing that check the samples I do not know how to do because I can’t point out what is what ! If I ask ,different people give me different answer .The environment I should face is the people who come from different countries with different culture and speak different types of English ,at first they join together and be far away from me , they treat me as I am the know-nothing. But now , it is ok ,everything changed ,I am familiar with my job ,and I can discuss the business very well , I call the suppliers like that : “ this is Frank from China state construction … if you have any questions do not hesitate give me a call .”I can say that each item that I touch I can give the answers they need . sometimes my department members who cannot get the quotation they will ask me for help .They always say that the way I speak like a boss ,I am so shape . but I think once it need shape way , I will be like that ;I think just use different ways with different persons. Now , I can rein English as the way I need . Today happen something : a supplier come here because some mistakes happened about his quotation ,when he came here I pointed out the mistakes to him ,and he revised except the price ,actually ,he should know that the price should be much more higher than before ,so I told him ,but he said :no change! I did not give up to telling him the reason why he should rise the price ,even though it can save a large amount of money for my company .After that , he moved … Then I told him my company won’t earn this kind of money . I find that the most staffs in my company think that here is prison ,they just muddle along the time , they just do things in his own scope .the betters are just improve themselves using the company’s recourse ,they never think that in this way the company will loss how much money and time .i am very angry ! Some one when I find him/her asking for the works that should be submit to me ,he/she as if I am the enemy of him/her .i can’t believe! But no problem I will bear that because I have the responsibility to make my company save time and reduce the lost . Now I think three roles should be in my mind : tenacity, bear and savvy . My thought : one :within two years I want the suppliers in Dubai when they mentioned Frank Guo they will say that : I know ,he is good , and China state construction is a good company.(raise their thumb).the other : I have been searching the real interest job I am suit for , I WON’T stop until I get it .(the same as searching the queen of mine ) When I am back to the camp ,I will read different type of books, in this way I can gather more information and open my eyes . Brother there is one thing I want to remind you : as you are in the RPI ,open you eyes don’t let homework and revising the students’ homework shield you eyes and make your thought narrow .Just as you say : I think , so I exist ; it is my investigation ,not a public inquiry ! i saw your blog ,i am sad ,you know ,you can not live like that ,it is not your life . one question : what is your target ,once ,you tell me you live for value, you are an eagle ,you donot want to be a frog in the well.you should improve yourself ,there is a large room for you to improve ,you remember how hard is it you go aboard to learn ,what a good chance in your hand? do not let comfortable life shield your eyes and desert your spirit and eager to be your real type ,because if you do not improve you will be behind to the other .think about it ,my brother ,think you are killing time or not?? guoxu
